X670E EXTREME - CANNOT UPDATE BIOS - HELP

Hello, im using crosshair x670e extreme and i cannot update the bios, im in version 1003 Beta, everything goes well but when i select the file from the usb in ez flash 3 the progress bar appears below briefly but then the PC shutdowns immediately, i waited just in case it would start again but no luck. I tried 2 different bios versions and also flashing one older version. Same behaviour.

I tried cleaning CMOS and loading optimized defaults, flashback option does not work neither but that didnt work the last time i tried but using ez flash there was no problem.

Anyone had the same issue? Hopefully i can find a solution.

having same issue with x670e-a rog strix

I solved the issue. I could do it with the flashback option but only using a USB 2.0. Using a 3.0 won’t work, try if it works for you.
