ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

I updated to 0922 this morning. After BSOD's on cold boot, I went back to 0805. How do you resolve the issues with the BSODs on cold boot? I can't find high voltage mode.

When I enable Memory Context Restore I get BSOD on boot

My system is a Crosshair HERO / 7950x / 32GB EXPO 6000 / M2 2x2GB SSD PCIe4 / RTX4090 /PSU ROG Platinum P2 1200W.

I have been using 805 very stable and only activating EXPOII without any OC/ AI OC i can get Cinebench run Single Core and many cores register at 5.75GHz and Multicore all 5.50GHz without problems, run many intensive games with RT FULL 4k eg ( Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy , Witcher 3 NG etc..) all most intensive scenes in CPU goes ok , it gets hot but max 80/85º but no issues at all and power with RTX 4090 max and CPU max is around 650W no problem.

Well until today , i updated the BIOS to 922 , after boot only enabled EXPOII no OC/AI OC and started the normal benchmarks to test.

Cinebench Single core i could only get 5.50Ghz / multicore was the same as before all 5.50Ghz so immediately noticed something wrong , but proceed to gaming tests.

Had to test individually each game because every time i run into a more CPU intensive scene the system simply put my house power disjunctor cut, as if there was a serious Short Circuit! happened in all 3 games same behaviour every time a more intense CPU scene!

Now i don't want to short circuit my CPU , so reverted to 805 and redo the tests all is back to normal.

So ... I don't know what the hell is AMD and ASUS doing but sincerely i don't understand how a BIOS that is not even classified as BETA is released in such state!

Seriously i am beginning to think AMD is just not taking care of quality anymore and rushing AGESA firmware without testing, but ASUS accepting this ???

I do not recommend updating BIOS i think it really can hurt your system since is like short circuiting something inside!

Probably related to be prepared to be used in new 3D chips but AMD forgot to be sure was pre compliant with existing CPUS!

Does everyone who upgraded to the officially released 0922 BIOS see ComboAM5PI_1005c_RC3 as their AGESA version in the BIOS? Seems strange a release candidate and not a final was included.

Beta 0922 and final 0922 are the same. Too high cpu soc when set expo with 6000 ram not fixed. System is unstable.

I have just updated to 0922 and it seems to be a bit of a mess.

I have been on 0805 and it has been rock solid, DOCP I enabled, memory context restore enabled, PBO enabled with limits set to Motherboard and a -30 all core in Curve Optimiser. I know it is solid because i have done a bunch of stress testing and didn't experience a single crash.

However, since going to 0922 i couldn't get into windows after trying to enable everything as per 0805, the only way i could get it to boot into windows was with optimised defaults and nothing enabled.

This is similar behaviour i witnessed when trying any of the BIOS versions prior to 0805

I don't see any warning of BETA 0922 bios on their download page, even still if it was BETA this should not be released in this state!

If you flash with there posted bios you get....ComboAM5PI_1005c_RC3 is the AGESA version. Not the ComboAM5PI 1.0.0.5 patch C
