ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

ocpak/octools

7950x not boosting pass 5.5G -> check that CStates is not disabled
Detailed Explanation on CState Boot Limiter

Test BIOSes:

new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)
97792

DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)
97793

strixe-e 1515

strixe-f 1515

strix e a 1515

crosshair hero 1515

crosshair gene 1515

crosshair extreme 1515

creator 670 1515

creator b650 1515

strix 650E I

strix 670 itx

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

That's the worst configuration for frequency, 4 DIMMs which are all dual rank, it's supposed to be low. Don't know if it should be locked though.

Still PatchC but looks like with old FW/SMU from PatchA. Might give you your boost back.

Unfortunately, the boosting behaviour in the recent BIOS updates is caused by AGESA 1.0.0.3 regardless of patch version, so the only way to improve boosting behaviours is to go back to 0611 but good luck with that, especially if you have a 4090 graphics card as mine wasn't recognised on that version and i was getting constant crashes due to RAM incompatibility with the version

Is there any possible way we can get beta updates for the x670e-i? I've noticed some bugs, and among other things, SMU appears to be out of date.

will upload later
meanwhile updated links in first thread to 0804 -> Patch A since some people had issues with Patch C, + D for just some thunderbolt updates.

After some stress testing, 0803 with old fw seems to have restored pbo back to a functional state, at least for me on the strix e. Speaking of, whats changed with 0804?

You mentioned 0804 being switched back to patch A from C, you also mentioned Patch D, which download is D?

So after pretty non-stop testing on x670e Hero, 7950x, 32gb 6200mhz memory, curve optimizer is completely unusable for me on 0804 bios. Stable with advanced pbo, +200, x10 scale, motherboard limits, cstates on, fclk=memclock, docp 2. But curve optimizer, no matter what negative offset, with eventually cause random resets (usually just before Windows log in).

the +200 wont do much without CO since it wont boost that high without CO. 200 would be 6050mhz fyi
dont use the +limits first as 5850 is plenty high, you want to start off with CO and find the black sheep among the cores -> whoever is failing,
->u can also try percore limits.

I will try this now then and report back later.
