ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

Turbo Mode disables SMT and 2nd non 3dcache CCD with an 7950X3D.....

so basically turbo mode just turns 7950X3D into 7800X3D. Why buy 7950X3D in the first place then

7950X3D has higher max clock on 3D CCD if im correct. mine run at 5250 Mhz max by default

i have a hard time finding any actual explanation, or info as to how to use it.

i hope you don't have to turn it on in BIOS and reboot anytime you want the PC to do something particular, or is it in that ryzen master utility?

i also hope they fixed the boot up times. it still takes a straight minute until i see the ASUS splashscreen, and my windows also likes to boot up slow on top of it even after the last reinstall of win 10.

Hi,

Start/Restart your PC then enter in your BIOS : Press F7 to switch in Advanced Mode > AI Tweaker tab > DRAM Timing Control :

Power Down Enable : Enabled
Memory Context Restore : Enabled

Press F10 to Save & Exit

 

Note : You will still have a long boot once a month for the RAM training.

BIOS V3065 on B650E-E: update went OK, EC FW version stays at 0262. Everything stable so far.

Feedback on 3056 Beta BIOS for my X670E-I; after flashing the BIOS it took a minute or so before I got video output (the green light was ON the whole time so this is AFTER memory training).

On subsequent boots, it takes 10s or so after the green light appears before I finally get the ROG display screen that allows me to enter the BIOS.

First time experiencing this issue since I got this board several months ago. I upgraded from 3042 yesterday,

Two questions 🙂
a) Will turbo mode permanently "cripple" an 7950X(3D) into a non-SMT 7800X(3D)?
Or does it dynamically detect games?
Would be a shame to reboot just because of gaming ...
b) is 0d issue fixed in latest beta bios?
