b8 Q Code of 650E-E

My B650E-E based system has been running fine since I built it a few months ago and it has the latest BIOS

Today I came home and it had powered down and now when I power-up it the Q-Code display 15 for a while and then hangs displaying "b8" with no display output to the monitor

The manual states "This Q Code is "Reserved for future AMI error codes"

I have tried clearing the BIOS (and removing the battery) but it still just hangs

Any suggestions before I RMA the mobo?

The problem was a failed CPU (Ryzen 7900) and motherboard.

Hi samrk

its currently doing memory training,

you can skip this by enabling memory cortex restore in bios,

also look to see if you can enable ram power down while you are there,

If you get a BSD turn it off and let it do a cold full boot.

Note it's best to establish stability before disabling training routines. If the system is failing training, the memory is not stable.

Use Karhu RAM Test or TM5 to test stability before enabling/changing any fast boot features.
