In power options check and see if in Advanced settings the {Wireless adapter settings} {power saving mode} is set to maximum performance. This should stop the motherboard sending it to sleep and it not waking up from sleep.
Also check
Device Manager then {effected wifi device} then {power management} and untick {allow the computer to turn off this device to save power}.
