C7H + 3900x + 2x16GB OC@3733CL16 need help with stability

Hi,

I have used the Dram Calculator and managed to get my 2x16GB 3200CL15 to 3733 CL16.
Prime 95 fails after a while. initially i had the memory at 1.37v and now i have raised it to 1.4v but i still get errors.

What is the best way of getting the ram stable?

Thanks.

With prime 95 instead of memory its probably your cpu overheating. For testing memory use memtest, ramtest etc.

Dont think so, my CPU stays at 70-75c, cooled with H150 PRO.
And i used the memory test in Prime95, Large FFT's (Stress memory controller and Ram).

If i pass Memtest 1000% can i consider the memory stable?

Cheers.

I don't use memtest but i'd say 1-2 hour minimum or leave it running overnight for best results.

I have it stable at 3733 with a 2x16 with CL14

What are you timings and ohms set to on the C7H? Also what is your sock voltage?

81651

I have used the DRAM outputs, it gave me 1.37v and it wasn't stable, i remembered reading that extra voltage can help so i upped to 1.4.

Try using profile V1 instead of manual. If you are using Samsung B-Die setting it to 1.45 volts should be fine.

C7H Bios the timing for the tRCDWR and tRCDRD are in reverse order from what you see in Ryzen calculator so I would first make sure you are putting those timings in the right place.

Yeah i did noticed, thanks.
So its 16-17-16-16, the thing is, i have been running this for the last 24h, i had some work done and played heaps of games, no issues so far and no crushes.

I would like to know if i have to pass prime for like 24h to grantee the stability of the system?
I did run Memtest (from DRAM Calculator) for about 1h and 30 min, passed 100% and more without errors, should i just keep it like this? or at some point i will encounter some stability issues? Difficult to know i guess.

change the profile version to V1/V2 might provide you different timing and voltage
Also try safe preset first.

And I thought 3600Mhz is the sweet spot, maybe consider that too?
