I've had this thing for awhile and have just been dealing with it by flipping off the main power switch on the Power suply but heres my odd issue.
The way I first noticed something was wrong was because of my radiator cooling fans being off but not quite off fully. The fans run on the 12v rail from the power supply and the 5v for the fan lighting comes from the mother board connection via the fan controller hook up. Well when I power off the PC the water pumps turn off and the fans stop.... sort of. The fans slow down and sometimes stop but when they do they "Twitch" as if they are trying to run. Also the LED's on the fans never turn off. Well last night I tried something, I tried not flipping off the power supply and I discovered my chip set fan always stays on. Now I'm pretty sure the 12v and 5v functions on the fans should be separate from each other but theres clearly some 5v bleed from the LED function attempting to power the 12v fan spin function. Could this somehow be coming from the always on Chipset fan?
