Yes, the amount of documentation in the manual regarding RSVD is kind of poor 🙂
It increases the boot voltage, as a countermeasure to CBB (Cold Boot Bug) if the LN2 "Slow mode" does not help.

I work from home 99% of the time and no ASUS rep have made an appearance, so it's most likely me that changed it when handling the motherboard 😉

Don't know as I didn't mount it.
No need to use that fan with a 1950X, my radiator have 3 120mm fans pulling air just above the VRM so there should be a decent amount of airflow in that area.
