2nd GPU is working fine but not showing up in BIOS

Hey All,

I built a new computer two days ago. It's my first build -

Rog Zenith Extreme

Threadripper 2nd gen 2950x

G.Skill 128 GIGS RAM

2 x GTX 1080Ti

At the beginning I installed the two GPU's on PCIEX16_1 and PCIEX8_2. After uploading the BIOS I got a message that it is preferred to install the second GPU on PCIEX16_3 for better performance, so I did. After installing the second GPU on the PCIEX16_3 the BIOS only recognized the first GPU on PCIEX16_1.

The 2nd GPU on PCIEX16_3 seems to be working fine and it shows up in the driver and in Device Manager. It's even working fine with Cinema 4D Octane render.

Is it necessary for the GPU to show up in the BIOS? If so how can I fix this?

Much appreciate your help,

Daniel

EDIT: I tried switching the 2nd GPU back to PCIEX8_2 and still not showing up in BIOS
