As im too stupid to see how I delete this post. I'll just say how it was fixed.
I had to update the firmware of the I225-v before updating the driver.
Any admin or mod can delete this post, ty.
I still have this issue despite updating the firmware as per the instructions on the ASUS support page.
I updated the driver to the latest 1.0.1.7 too from the Mokichu thread.
Still my Wifi has twice the speed of LAN. I too have a 1Gbps connection.
