Z390-I VCCIO and System Agent...What do you guys set your voltages at?

Hardware:
- Z390-I motherboard
- (16gb x 2) 32gb Corsair Vengeance RGB 3000Mhz C15 (CMR32GX4M2C3000C15)
- 9900K CPU

I put VCCIO and System Agent voltages to Auto, which set VCCIO to 1.328 V and System Agent to 1.232 V.

I asked around on YouTube and Reddit, and nearly everyone said I could lower it.

So I lowered the VCCIO to 1.232 V in bios, which was the same as the System Agent voltage, and it jumped to 1.264 V, according to HWiNFO64 and HWMonitor.

Corsair also mentioned to leave it on auto for stability reasons, but I have yet to run into any problems at 1.264 V, even after succesfully passing OCCT medium packet, AIDA64 and MEMTest64.

How far should I lower the VCCIO and System Agent before calling it a day? I just don't want to have to CMOS reset. Some people even said go as low as 1.1xx.

What do you guys run your VCCIO and System Agent voltages at?

What LLC did you set and what CPU temps are you getting with no AVX offset with Real Bench?

LLC6 and between 85 90C, but your conditions will vary.

Thx. I guess you must have very efficient AIO/water cooling 🙂 Mine, with Noctua NH-15DS and 5GHz AVX -2, are hitting 96C.

If I keep them on AUTO it will put some insane numbers so I manually put 1.15/1.2.

CPU @ 5GHz 1.25-1.26V
RAM @ 4GHz CL17 1.35V

After lowering the VCCIO and System Agent voltages, do you guys even notice a temperature difference?

Ramtest is worth the 10 bucks if you are serious about RAM overclocking.

I have some G Skill TridentZ RGB F4-3600C16-8GTZR running with a OC of 3866 15-15-15-36 CL1..My Auto timings for IO-1.288 and SA-1.328 .I dropped 3 levels down for IO-1.250 and SA-1.275 and she booted into windows no problems.So just curious on how many levels under auto voltages I can go and then start testing for stability..Do you think for 3866 oc it probably wont go any lower and be stable..

Depends on the CPU and memory kit. These are signal rails and thus come down to alignment. Too much voltage can cause instability just as much as too little, so tuning can sometimes be needed. Because Ramtest is reliable at finding errors quickly it makes these adjustments less difficult.

I have a Asus Z270 IX Apex with a 7700k OC 'd to 5.0 with 4.7 cache at 1.390 volts.Dram volts is set at 1.470v..I just ran Ramtest with IO at 1.23750v and SA at 1.26250v and it stopped on a error at 600 %..Do you think my dram volts are too high for starters which might also throw errors..
