the error highlight on the picture will appear a lot, do not worry for it. is normal on windows, and there is no fix. good i find you post

Well, i can call myself some s**** names.
Have the sistem running for a couple of days now... the problem was the DVD-RW, it was with some kind of short-circuit, although it was working (i've installed drivers with it too).

yeah, always unplug everything.. 🙂

I read you post late. Yes. The bios is not perfect but was not the issue. IF your system hangs on load before the asus screen is 99% a SSD or peripheral . The window event viewer is NORMAL 1809. I have the same with some more. But i can see now with your picture that we are facing windows issues. bad ones. thanks. for the moment. as you I have also serios issues myself. I am trying to check what triggers what. I am positive is a driver issues that is not playing nice with the new windows and or the new firmware update ime.

Glad that you fix that. Keep the eyes on odd issues. like you are using the audio console and on speaker test, it close. Aura losing sync. I will get another machine to test with same issues like yours but no cdrom playes

I've seen the same issues when trying to run older PCI WiFi 'Asus', older HDD's will cause this as well, now we can add certain Optical drives to this list, short circuit or just too old, that will cause either reboot or restart 'hanging' issues.

Very frustrating to solve unless you know what to look for.
