Z370-F / 8350k & OC (help..?)

Hi,

Couple months back i got a bundle with 8350k + z370f and a pair of sticks. I have my settings on XMP and ratio on 42, everything is stable and allright until...

I up the ratio to anything over 42 and i get a 0xc00000e "recovery" bluescreen, is this problem because of my 960 NVME ssd ?

I need to default everything first to normal(fan curves etcetc.) and then enable xmp/ratio 42 to even get into windows.

Will a bios update help me with this issue ? Feels pointless to have my NH-15 in use with this setup since i cant get a high enough temperature to make up for it =).

Are you just increasing the ratio or are you also tuning vcore?

You need to elaborate on these things if you want help.

Ive tried running with auto or 1.35 flat, the problem is that everything "boots up" like it should, but once its supposed to load windows i get a 0xc000000e recovery bluescreen, like it could not find my medium (960 nvme ssd). I need to reset everything to default before it will boot to windows again.

Usually or atleast with my 4690k @ 4.8 it wouldnt even go that far, because i had to clear cmos and start again. But this is grinding my gear so to speak.

G.Skill 16GB (2x8GB), Ripjaws V, DDR4 3200MHz, CL16
Samsung 250GB 960 EVO SSD -drive, M.2, NVMe, 3200/1500 MB/s

+ Z370-F + 8350k @ 4.2 (Auto atm.)

Edit, also should i enable the CPU over voltage jumper on the top of the MB ?

Problem solved when updated the bios to newest, no random bluescreens.
