Hi I’ve been having some problems with cooling, it started with my i7 9700 and continued with a i7 9700k and now with a i9 9900k, I was running a H115i 280mm setup at first but swapped back to my open loop to try and get the temps down unfortunately it’s not worked even running at stock speeds and 1.2 vcore as soon as I run a benchmark test temps hit 100c almost instantly, my first thought was the block not making a good contact but I’ve ruled it out with a new cpu and cooler block, I have a large case with lots of air flow so I’m a little stumped 🤔.
basic gaming temps seem steady at 70 it just seems as soon as I start to task the cpu it just hits the wall and throttles.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
