Will a Z370 Maximus X Code work okay with a 9900K?

I got a 9900K and my current gigabyte board is junk and i been seeing loads of maximus x code's for cheap and im thinking of getting one and i do see people saying it will work but none of them have said anything about it since 2018.
With that said anyone got a maximus x code and a 9900K have any issues?

It will, but depending on the age of the board it may need a BIOS update to support it.
