Should upgrade BIOS? (Z370-E Asus ROG)

Hi everyone, guys!

I put my hands on this board (with my first desktop computer) and I had no problem ... or at least I think.

I have tried that from the dxdiag, the computer can not recognize that it is an ASUS motherboard and is written the word "System product name"

I saw that I had the very first BIOS version of the motherboard and I was wondering: should I update it or should I leave it like this?

I have the following components: i7 8700k - G Skill 16 GB x2 3200 Mhz (enabled)

I do not understand why it is always advised against updating the motherboard, when it is necessary to bring benefits and not disadvantages.
Also, I would like to bring the processor to 4.8 without exaggerating, do you have any configuration to recommend?

Thank you!

Just update the BIOS. Z370 is still early, many issues have been patched from production time and you shouldn't have any issue with the latest version.

You say that suits me? Because in the manual says not to do it if everything works correctly and on the web, even on the forum, I found many reports and problems with the latest updates, which could even lead me to die the motherboard

I'm scared.

If you're scared, then don't update the bios.
