ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO problem GPU running at x8 instead of x16

I have NVidia 4070 Super on PCIe_x16 (first slot) this run at 8x because in second slot PCIe is occupied by an M.2 SSD NVME to PCIE 4.0 Adapter Card, i read on manual.

I can't put the adapter in other PCIe because they are busy, is there a solution in the bios so that the first PCIe slot goes to 16x?

When you populate the 2nd pcie x16 slot with any device, it will automatically drop the 1st pcie x16 slot to x8.

Yes i read this on manual, but in the bios is not possible set PCIe slot 1 at 16x ? to avoid that GPU run at 8x ?

The only way to get the 1st pcie x16 slot to run at x16 is to remove the pcie 4.0 adapter card.
