looking under ROG MAXIMUS X HERO Driver & Tools there gone nothing there , BIOS & FIRMWARE , is there but no Drivers or software utilities https://imgur.com/9HorUxZ never mind it was my Google Chrome messing up there all there

Yip my google chrome does the same thing. Had to use Edge or FIrefox to download stuff.

No idea why Chrome will not work.

same issue a few months ago , then it worked for about a month now its back to being silly . have to use microsoft edge to down load it yuk .....lol

Chrome works fine for me, but only with the safety measures removed. If you are using Unlock Origin, Tamper Monkey, custom hosts file or anything similar that offers web browsing protection it will not work because of how and where Asus is hosting the driver files. If you use a browser that you never normally use it works with those browsers running configuration defaults. If you use a custom hosts file that blocks potentially malicious web sites it will not work with any browser.
