ROG MAXIMUS X HERO BIOS VER 1101 Feedback Thread

I just noticed this is on the ASUS US website. Has anyone tried it yet? I'm not feeling like being a guinea pig as "bios flashback" does not seem to work.

Anyways, let's keep this friendly and post our experiences with it.

still hitting 5GHz -0AVX @ 1.38v with 4x8GB DDR4 4000MHz 18-18-18-38 1.4v on new BIOS 1101 from 1003

I updated to the new BIOS and now my PC starts twice from a cold boot, for example it starts, goes off a second later then starts up fine, I notice this only happens when the XMP profile is enabled in bios, the previous bios version in my case the bios that came with retail did not do this. Is this something I need to look into further? Asus Rog Maximus Formula X Motherboard
Cheers

No improvements in regard to memory stated as compatible in QVL but not being actually compatible ( CMR32GX4M4C3466C16 )

Works fine for me. Don't see any difference at all. Probably just that code patch.

I just flashed this BIOS, Cinebench score is basically the same for me... within 10 margin from 1003

Drops will happen sorry guys. is not the bios or asus. is mix. of all. Intel in order to patch these malware there is cost. bios and drivers. a big hit is the Nvme 4k reading drop half. we need to wait if the new windows make another changes. file is big since we are testing it. Some will have 10% drop on scores. other more. Some servers did get hit hard. let see what will happened. but these is Intel trying to patch issues.

Why no patch notes? Surely a BIOS update should have notes! Am not installing until I see the changes.
