Questions regarding temperature and compatibility before purchase

Hi

I am looking to buy the Asus - ROG Strix Z370-I Gaming Mini ITX version of this board.

I do have some questions beforehand:

1) Is the new m.2 heat sink a real improvement in preventing thermal throttling ( in comparison with EKWB M.2 heat sink)

2) As from a previous build I use a Intel 750 series U.2 SSD (will this be compatible if I use the Asus Hyperkit)
