Prime Z370-A with Corsair CMW32GX4M2D3600C18 - Unable to use A2 and B2 RAM slots

I have a Asus Prime Z370-A Motherboard and just installed Corsair CMW32GX4M2D3600C18 2x16GB sticks. Per the manual I have them installed in A2 and B2 on the board. I see the LEDs are lit on the RAM, however the DRAM light on the motherboard slowly blinks, then fast blinks, then goes solid. I can't get this to work in this configuration in A2 and B2. If I move the one 16GB stick from B2 to A1, then I'm able to boot.

I also tried using a pair of CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 2xGB RAM, matched pair trying it in A2 and B2 and same issue with blinking and not getting into BIOS. If I swap B2 to A1 then I'm able to boot. However I then do not get the dual channel.

Tearing my hair out here and hoping to get some input from the community. I'm currently on the latest PRIME-Z370-A-ASUS-3005 BIOS. I've used Auto settings for everything in BIOS when using just one stick of either, then powered down and inserted the second stick in B2 and same issue. I've enabled XMP and tried the same but no change.

Hi @zorxy_96

I would first attempt to reseat the CPU and cooler. Inspect the CPU pin pad and CPU and check for debris or damage. If all is ok, reseat the CPU and cooler and ensure consistent and even mounting pressure.
