Hi all
Today my computer has started to have problems when I use the 'Sleep' function in Windows.
The computer will go into 'Sleep mode' but then within 5 seconds it starts up again.
However this time the Q code now reads 30 where as before a clean restart it is usually A0
^^I think this is actually just informing that its woken from an S3 state
Any ideas?
Ok so quick update according to CMD I checked what woke the computer and it said:
Wake History Count - 1
Wake History [0]
Wake Source Count - 1
Wake Source [0]
Type: Device
Instance Path: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15B8&SUBSYS_86721043&REV_00\3&11583659&0&FE
Friendly Name: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V
Description: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V
Manufacturer: Intel
So in the Ethernet Power management settings I have a few options:
Currently the following 'Wake on LAN' are checked:
Wake on Magic Packet
Wake on Pattern Match
Wake on Magic Packet from power off state
Ok final edit if anyone's interested you need to uncheck 'Wake on Pattern Match'
That solved it
