Trying to understand this bios as it has been a war with it the last two weeks. First my system specs..

Case - Corsair Obsidian Series 1000D
CPU - Intel I9 - 9900K Processor
CPU Cooler - Hydro Series H150i Pro RGB 360mm Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard - ROG Maximus XI Extreme

Tested Latency 17-18-18-38
Video Card - ROG Strix OC 1080Ti OC 1708MHz
SSD's - Samsung 850 Pro X-Three-1TB
Power Supply - Corsair HX 1200i
Fans - Corsair ML120 Pro 120mm Premium x 16 (6 for CPU Cooler push pull)
Command Pro x 2
RGB Fan LED Hub x 3
Corsair LED Lighting Pro Expansion Kits x 2

Win 10 Enterprise 64bit

Next my issues :
when we first built this PC we could not get into bios with a DP cable on my screen and had to use a HDMI cable this we have never seen whats the deal with this.
When I try to put it on XMP 2 and his yes I get a BSOD sorry forgot to write down the error code in windows will next time If someone needs it but it is a big pain as I lose the DP cable and have to set up HDMI again. As well as I lose my Corsair keyboard and need to hook up a old keyboard.
When I put it on XMP 2 and hit NO I make it to windows so far no BSOD but have not run stress tests yet.
This sec I have it on Bios 0805
If I get a BSOD in windows I seem to lose the DP cable on the screen and have to hook up HDMI again as well as lose my corsair keyboard
This second under boot Device Control I have everything set to UEFI only is this wrong.

I tried to set up bios as much as I could the same as I have it on my Rampage Extreme V MB as it gives me zero issues in XMP and DP cable and keyboard. And on my Rampage Extreme V MB its on a manual OC and stable but the first year I had it it was only on XMP. I have never had XMP give a BSOD until the Maximus XI Extreme. What am I not understanding on this MB with XMP lol.

This second I do feel like I have missed a bios setting or done a wrong bios setting and I am at a loss what to do as this bios is so very different then anything I have ever worked with in some respects. I tried to find basic bios settings for this MB and not finding anything so far so came for help on this site.

My husband looked up my ram and it is to run under xmp 2 but it all is making me a bit crazy and I have never had a build give me so much BS and for the first time ever really starting to hate this ROG MB. This is sad as I always loved the ROG MB until now and I hope this is just bios settings issue on my part.

Things I fully hate on this MB is going back to a HDMI cable for the screen and using old keyboard for every crash or bios update making me a bit nuts why this is and starting to think I should just junk this MB and go to a different MB to match my CPU and ram when I can afford it. But this is so not a cheep move and I do think its a setting I am doing wrong in my bios so I need some help please in making sure my Bios is set up correct as I feel like a FNG in this bios . Thank you for any help I can get.

OK Boss doing it now :}...testing so we are looking for above 5000% to fully pass I take it my question is answered lol I think . I would say I need it to pass past 5000% as I play games like BFV fully a pc / cpu hog so my rig must be very stable :]

We got it tonight stable thanks fully to @Phillyflyer and his amazing help and settings. I have no words to thank him enough for his amazing help walking me though all this as very little information online on how to do it fully correct when your not a OC person. So I hope all this below will fully help another person in the same boat I was in.
Also big thanks to @Silent Scone@ASUS for pointing me towards using the best program to test a OC https://www.karhusoftware.com/ramtest/ love this software yes you can use this free one as well https://hcidesign.com/memtest/ but I liked the Karhu RamTest best was worth the money under $20.
So if you have my parts below this is well worth a try...
Intel I9 - 9900K
ROG Maximus XI Extreme
DDR4 G.Skill Trident Z RGB 4266Mhz 32GB [ F4-4266C17Q 32GTZR]
Tested Latency 17-18-18-38

So if anyone has my MB and Ram and CPU this is how @Phillyflyer got my ram to 4266MHz

First I had to ditch bios 805 for what ever reason my rig hated it and we got no place with me on bios 805. I went to Bios 602 and my rig is way more happy and we started to get it working slow but sure.

Set to Manual OC
Dram Frequency 4266MHz
Dram voltage 1.45v

CPU System Agent Voltage 1.29v
Dram timing control 17-18-18-38

Dram command rate set to 2N set dram current capability to 130%

You can find dram current capability under
External Digi + Power Control

BTW my max ram temp 6hrs in of testing is 48c so pretty solid and I am very happy :]

Thank you Silent Scone@ASUS it was all @Phillyflyer he was the Boss I just followed orders it's all his skill and knowledge I could not have done it with out him :]

On a side note with Karhu RamTest for anyone who does use it if you run it past the 10000% mark like i tend to you can get a false error @ times but not always, so don't let it give you a heart attack like it did me last night lol. Just reboot PC run it again to be sure if you want :] I am not sure why it does this as heat on ram and cpu was the same both tests sadly I did not take a picture of the temps after first picture above but I do know they never went past 48c on my ram. Most people don't run it for 6hr or more but I like to as it just screams I'm stable lol. From reading I did on it once you pass the 10000% you are more then stable and I love this program best buy for under 20 dollars. For a example of a false error see both pictures below ....
Same ram speeds 4266MHz both tests past the 10000% mark first one full on false error rebooted pc let it run as I got some sleep and it passed second time

A couple of things to note

1) Errors are errors. Any error count during the test accounts for a bit error, meaning the memory has become unstable.

2) Given the amount of coverage and the memory frequency/timings with 4 memory modules, one has to have a realistic expectation of stability, as we're pushing things far out of spec. I would not be overly concerned with one error in this amount of coverage. Simply use the system and feel free to post back if you experience any instability during day to day.

I'am glad atm - my first 9900KS was "only" able to run 32GB 4.133 CL17 100% stable.

But it doesnt work really with the 32GB 4.266 CL17 Kit & the 64GB 3.733 CL17 Kit.

Now i got a new KS and the 4.266 Kit runs nearly out of the box!

Started @4000mhz and after reboot i go a step higher.

ATM it looks the kir runs stable:

DRAM 1,4550v
VCCIO: 1,20625v
SA: 1,21875

HWiNFO:

DRAM 1,468v
VCCIO: 1,216v
SA: 1,232v

It runs Prime95 720-800k / hci memtest pro and Karhu RAM Test.

Exact this voltage combinated with the other settings from this thread are working solid for me.

I9 9900KS CPU

Thor 850P Power Supply

the changed voltage settings did the trick for me.

thank you 🙂
