Hi guys,
I have a question:
According to some pictures found on the web, the above motherboard should have the APEX badge (I/O schield area) that lights up.
Unfortunately it is not like that for mine.
Is this an issue of my motherboard or the web pictures are misleading?

maybe… I can see something but I thought it was a LED reflection that comes from the Republic of Gamer badge, in the middle of the motherboard, but is it normal about you?

This might not help but some of the Maximus XI motherboards have absolutely pathetic IO shroud lighting. In particular the website for the Maximus XI Formula shows light gleaming out of the traces on the I/O shroud but in reality it's so dim the only way you can see it is to turn off all the other lighting in your case as well as the lights in the room and squint your eyes lol

They tried to do a light-through-mirror type effect this time that didn't work out very well, at least on certain models. Can't say for sure about the Apex but try turning off all other lights in a dark room and see if you can see anything.
