Maximus X Hero: Does your G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) work ok?

Hello,

Does anyone have the G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600), model: F4-3200C14D-16GTZR, working fine with your Maximus X Hero board?

I ask because I am having problems with either the Memory Module or Memory slot on the motherboard and Asus technical support says that my memory is not compatible with the Maximus X Hero.

ISSUE:
* 3 days ago, I noticed that only 1 memory module was being recognized even though the module was lighting up. So I reseated the memory module which resolved the issue, BIOS detected both memory modules, 16GB.

* Yesterday, I noticed once again the only one 8GB stick was recognized. So I have switched memory modules. I ran Windows 10 Memory Diagnostic, no errors found. I then ran MemTest86 from 5pm until 8am this morning with NO errors found. System still detecting 16GB.

However, today I attempted to install Battle.net app, but I got a BSOD! Tried a few times with same result, BSOD…! Coincidence??? Hmm I don’t know. 😞

Any thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

Different issue here but related to G.Skill 4133 RGB (2x8GB) and Maximus Hero X (wifi AC).
I can use the modules at 2133 (SPD values) but I cannot use in XMP mode.
The motherboard is able to "overclock" the ram to around 3180 MHz. Nothing more (system blue screen or fail to boot).

Have you updated the BIOS? 1401 contains compatibility improvement for RAM.

I did, but didn't help me.

Have you checked the compatible memory list in the support page? Just to be sure…
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/ROG_MAXIMUS_X_FORMULA/MEMORY_QVL_0108.pdf?_ga=2.25907193...
If it falls inside the list I suspect the RAM is defective OR defective slot…
If the motherboard has 4 ram slots, try to move to the free slots. On Maximum hero X the default slots for dual channels are 2 and 4 but if you move ram to slots 1 and 3 it works. Try this way, or, use one single slot at time, stress your module, check which one fails under stress (if any).

Yes, I do and its works under xmp or manually inputing the settings in bios (1.35v and 1.1 for vcccio/sa)

i am using 32GB b die version (for amd).

im having cold boot issues after adjusting the sub timings even on default 3200mhz cl 14-14-14-34

not sure whats the issue either. i have 1.1v for sa and io.

i also tried 3600 at 1.38v dram voltage with CL16-16-16-36 also fail to cold boot. GSAT pass but it just refuse to cold boot or even post after a reboot of PC with error code 55, 49

but mine can detect all 32gb
