i was told that optane would not boost anything and that i have my os on my NVME allready so would not see any thing much . Is that TRUE .

Hello there,

so you have only SSD in your rig.
And your OS runs on 4x PCI NVME.

Your Sir have abolutely no need for the Optane drive.

It helps wih MAGENTIC Harddrives (as a buffer), which you do not have.

Kind Regards
Carlyle

I believe Carlyle is correct that you have no need for an Optane drive, check motherboard manual for shared SATA lanes, if installed on a pcie adapter card in bottom pcie slot it shouldn't interfere with any SATA ports
