Hero X WiFi - which ASMedia Firmware and drivers?

I have ASUS Z370 Hero X WiFi AC motherboard with the latest BIOS 2301 and Windows 10 x64 LTSC. How can I find out:
1. Which ASMedia USB Controller my motherboard has?
2. What are the latest drivers for my motherboard's ASMedia USB Controller? Where can I download them?
3. What is the latest firmware for my motherboard's ASMedia USB Controller? Where can I download it?
4. How can I flash my motherboard's ASMedia USB Controller to the latest firmware version?

5. Which ASMedia SATA Controller my motherboard has?
6. What are the latest drivers for my motherboard's ASMedia SATA Controller? Where can I download them?
7. What is the latest firmware for my motherboard's ASMedia SATA Controller? Where can I download it?
8. How can I flash my motherboard's ASMedia SATA Controller to the latest firmware version?

I know how to use UEFI BIOS Updater from Win-RAID forums and ASUS BIOS Flashback, but some device firmware, such as Intel MEI, can be updated independently without UEFI BIOS Updater. Even if UEFI BIOS Updater is required, I have no idea which ROM/Firmware files to import and how.

Since the controller type is not indicated in the naming of the device in your Device Manager, you need to check your DEV hardware ID : Press Windows key + X > Device Manager > Right click on your ASMedia USB3.x eXtensible Host Controller device in Universal Serial Bus controllers category > Properties > Details tab > Hardware Ids :

...DEV_1xxx... = ASM1xxx
...DEV_2xxx... = ASM2xxx
...DEV_3xxx... = ASM3xxx

Note : Your ASMedia USB Root Hub & ASMedia USB3.x eXtensible Host Controller devices must be updated in tandem.

Since Windows 10, the USB drivers are Microsoft built-in and/or managed by Windows Update as specific to each hardware revision of the same controller reference. So if you want to update your Intel USB Controller drivers (Root Hub & Host Controller) and your ASMedia USB Controller drivers (Root Hub & Host Controller), do it from your Device Manager.

Note : For example for my ROG Strix Z370-F Gaming with the same USB controllers as you, the Intel USB Controller drivers are not updated from Windows Update and are still Microsoft built-in drivers (recognizable by the driver version that corresponds to the current Windows build used) and the ASMedia USB Controller drivers are updated from Windows Update to v1.16.41.3 WHQL.

There is no universal firmware update solution for ASMedia products, so for the same reasons I mentioned earlier regarding drivers, I don't recommend doing it.

Your motherboard don't have an ASMedia SATA Controller, only Intel SATA Controller.

You do not need to mod your BIOS to update your Intel ME firmware, Intel offers suitable tools to do it independently.

So, here are the drivers/firmware threads for your motherboard :

- Intel ME Firmware (updates your Intel MEI drivers before) : [FIRMWARE] Intel ME (Z170/Z270/Z370)
- Intel Chipset/Ethernet/MEI/SATA Drivers : [DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/Ethernet/MEI/SATA (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx)
- Realtek Audio Drivers : [DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (UAD | 2xx/3xx/4xx)
Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process with cleanup step.
Note (in order to choose correctly the install/update process to use) : You have a ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard.
