Since Windows 10, the USB drivers are Microsoft built-in and/or managed by Windows Update as specific to each hardware revision of the same controller reference. So if you want to update your Intel USB Controller drivers (Root Hub & Host Controller) and your ASMedia USB Controller drivers (Root Hub & Host Controller),
do it from your Device Manager.
Note : For example for my ROG Strix Z370-F Gaming with the same USB controllers as you, the Intel USB Controller drivers are not updated from Windows Update and are still Microsoft built-in drivers (recognizable by the driver version that corresponds to the current Windows build used) and the ASMedia USB Controller drivers are updated from Windows Update to v1.16.41.3 WHQL.

There is no universal firmware update solution for ASMedia products, so for the same reasons I mentioned earlier regarding drivers, I don't recommend doing it.

Your motherboard don't have an ASMedia SATA Controller, only Intel SATA Controller.
