well is not all that crap my friend.
you need to enable it.
Go to the sound manager on the asus Supreme FX. Click the device advance manager. options. There will have a option Make front and rear outputs playbacks two different audio streams. check that. On sonic studio, on advance mode, device manager normally is default on speakers or if you connect a headphones that will be set on that. below, is the application manager. ones you start using audio on any app, will appear by itself. in there, once the front panel is connected to a headphone OR a usb headphones (including wireless) you can select where/what device you want to use. and presto. Be sure that you have all new bios, drivers, windows 10 updates, etc in order to have all issues resolve. Also, using the old speaker icon, you can select the vol on each source of audio without going to sonic studio-iii. I use these every day since, like you like to have more sound control. In fact i use 2 pairs of headphones, 1 usb and another to the front panel, just for music. i can route all 3 using independent sources.
Normally i do not make comparisons on brands. since each brands has their points. I have to test the new X from Asus. lets see if i can get one on mid 2018
Have a nice Friday!
