Help Needed! Maximus XI Extreme + i9 9900k and stuff...

Hey all!

So I haven't build a machine from ground up for about 5 years. I follow all the tech news and such - and ended up ordering the Maximus Xi Extreme / i9 9900k.

For my install - I'm wondering about the PCI situation. I am going to be installing 2 1080Ti's and a NVMe Drive... I have never used a NVMe drive before...

From what I gather I shouldn't install the M.2 Riser card right? I should install the NVMe card in the bottom of the board, and that'll still give my 2 1080Ti's x8 each?

just connect both graphics cards in two upper PCIE slots and SSD in M.2 slot 🙂

Yeah nothing installed in slots but the GPUs or you won’t get X8 on both. *M2 needs to be running on the PCH, so yeah I’m the MB slot.*
