Help me OC my 8700k to 5ghz for a noob

Here is my build below. I would like to see 5ghz. I have tried, and seen them core temps hit 100c with maximum heat test of prime95, and backed off. That was when I tried 1.35v and watching a youtube video discussed here before with settings. I am running at stock and 1.25v right now and stable to keep it cool till I figure this out. I know the Asus boards have a tendency to push too much V through the memory and cpu. So would like to get 5ghz, and have it not so hot either if thats possible. I am not delid. XMP is enabled for 3200.

Since I am a noob, and not very good with Asus boards, please tell me where to go to adjust the settings and what to adjust too.

Here are 3 pics that might show things better. My BCLK Frequency is set high, keep yours at 100.0000 to start out with.

the funny thing is I have a i5 8600K on the Asrock K6 and have that up to 5.1 with a lot less changes and it runs more stable and cooler

basically clock to 51 , LLC to 2 and voltage to 1.31

still having all these settings from OldMike and from De8auer will help a lot out.....they can see what others are doing

I can OC this board, up to 5.4, but for most of my benchmarking scores I use 5.3 most of the time. 5.0 is what I run when I am not benchmarking. 🙂

havn't tried to push the 8600K but this 8700k doesn't seem to be the best as temps get to high, I think maybe some different thermal compound as the other was a bit off ( it had separated in the tube to clear and grey ....artic silver )

beat you to it...... 🙂

one of the stores I buy from has it but the shipping costs are extreme , actually more then the product so just thinking about what else I need before doing it

edit: which is the best

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Grease
Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut Thermal Grease
Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Thermal Compound

All 3 are excellent choices, but maybe choose the Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut liquid metal 🙂
