Are you able to get those settings stable on your Strix, or in fact POST?

I'm at work and haven't tried yet. I guess they won't really work because as Raja already said the boards are pretty different. But I'm still going to give it a try.

I'm considering a 2x16GB kit to use in my z390 Gene. Which are the best around?
My target would be 4000 cl18, but I think that could be too hard to achieve.

I'd stick to something like gskill 3200 c14.
I recently tried the GSkill f4-4400c18D-16GTZR's ($400 US )on my Apex X (on QVL) and could not get more than 3700 with my standard overclock using Raja's "4133" mem timings. Now, I could get the kit to 4300 c19, but only with my cpu running at default speeds .
Ok, now the funny part: My $200 (US) GSkill 3200 c14 Ripjaws will do up to 4300 c18 1.5v ; I'm currently running the kit @ 4200 c17-17-17-38 cr2 at 1.42v on a 53/50nb, no avx offset 8086.....62 read 62 write with AIDA latency as low as 36.9 (using Raja's mem timings). ... Yeah ....go figure.
