The reason why I opted for 2 x (16 gb )ram is because I wanted to leave open the option to go to 64 gb by adding 2 more sticks. I still do not like the idea of buying 4 rams and fill all the 4 slots removing the option to increase the amount of ram, 1 day.
The answer I did not get yet, is what is the best 32 gb ( 2 x16 gb preferred ) or (4x 8 gb not preferred) kit to buy for an asus maximus extreme xi mounting an intel i9 9900k.
Can anyone come up please with a brand and model of ram?
That would be of great help !
If you can point me to the charts that show which rams are compatible with the asus xi maximus extreme and the i9 900k would help also

Thank you so much for the replies. I am not shooting any of you for the reply :). I truly appreciate your input. Thank you! I am going to return my 2 × ( 16gb ) ram blocks and I want to get what would work the best for my CPU and motherboard based on your experience.
Please correct me if I am wrong on what I understood :
1) I need to buy a package of 4 rams . Correct?
2) 4 x 16 GB = 64gb would probably give me more problems that 4 x 8gb = 32 GB so I might have to go for 4 x 8gb . Correct ?
3) i should not buy any set that goes above 2666mhz because I would otherwide encounter problems . Correct?
4) I should buy lowest c numbers . What I do not understand is why there a series of 4 c numbers and how do I interpret them?
5) I do not care about aesthetics. The leads actually generates heat and waste energy . I want the best in terms of performance for my pc. Would you please suggest the best 4 sets ?

3) i should not buy any set that goes above 2666mhz because I would otherwide encounter problems . Correct?...((Not so....anything over the standard 2133mhz is considered overclocked...that being said...you should be fine with a kit that is 3600mhz -4133mhz...that being said...it's all dependant on how strong your chips IMC is )
4) I should buy lowest c numbers . What I do not understand is why there a series of 4 c numbers and how do I interpret them?...(The numbers indicate the number of clock cycles it takes the memory to perform a certain operation...the smaller the number..the faster the memory)
5) I do not care about aesthetics. The leads actually generates heat and waste energy . I want the best in terms of performance for my pc. Would you please suggest the best 4 sets ?...….(The RGB doesn't generate as much heat as one would think...…..If you want the better of performance...my suggestion is to go with the GSkill Trident Z RGB series as they have a proven track record with compatibility/performance/overclockability and reliability.)

I am still confused about the mhz.
What I should go for ? I mean they claim these are compatible with the asus motherboard but if we use banks with too high MHz we encounter problems?
Which one should I get?
