I was recently gifted this PC from a friend. It was in pristine condition when it was given to me.
My internet connection is a gigabit connection. On wifi, I get decent speeds, but I like ethernet, because it's usually much faster. Unfortunately, on this machine it is MUCH slower. The max I've seen is around 200Kb/sec on ethernet, and about 4.5MB/sec on wifi. This happens in both Windows 10 Pro, and in (k)ubuntu 22.04. transfers inside the network get full ethernet speeds. Other computers on the same network get full ethernet speeds for the exact same internet downloads.
I read something about disabling TCP Checksum Offload, but doing this didn't fix the issue. I'm at my wits end. Any assistance would be appreciated. If you need more info, just let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: In case it helps, my internet is provided by Verizon FIOS using IPv4. I have already tried disabling TCP Checksum offload to no avail.
