Within about two months of getting the system, I been having intermittent DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. It seems to happen when I run my system for a prolong period of time. I not one to let my pc sleep , so it's either in use or in lock screen mode. I have uninstalled most of asus programs except for asus sync, as I hear amory create can cause problems. I also disable my net and wireless power state options, as i figured they may be the issue. Event viewer says Bug Check as well. Does anyone have any ideas, on how to fix this issue? I do have DMP file, but it says access denied when I try and open it.
As soon as I saw the title I knew you had an Nvidia video card.
I've only seen this with people with nvidia cards.
Usually something to do with the power states at idle or load modes or c-states, etc. Whether Nvidia related or something else.
