I always thought just "offset settings" affect turbo and idle, but offset in adaptive only affect turbo.
I guess I'm wrong.

As above, the voltage affects the entire VID stack. If applying a suitably large offset, one needs to be wary of inducing instability at idle

played around whit it after reading an atricle here about it.
No setting did really take.

...Since i have not found an aticle putting vcore vs LLC vs offset in a comprehensable text, i cannot say much than i have not found anybody using it on a Z370 board.

You might want to share info of what you played around with and how you set things up. Someone may be able to help you 😉
