hello all i know there is a thread on this open it wouldn't let me post so i updated to all latest drivers on the asus sight for the hero x evrything works good except 2 things when using the front panel audio on my tower ( new thermal take view 71 glass case ) the audio in the head phones crackles and gets distored badly so i unplugged it blew air in tothe holes checked the front panel cord that plugs to mobo its all good messed with settings ect made sure bios options were right .
i know for fact its the board as my gigabyte z270 front panel audio worked just fine .
@ issues with this board
1) audio crackling / distortion from front panel auido
2) un balanced audio ( left to right sound ) by 12 % tried different head phones ect its board and audio panel stuff is default and dubble checked balance .
question is since a lot of people have this issue with this board and have high dpc latency will asus release a bios or a recall ?
i realy like this baord i was on a gigabyte z270 gaming k5 on 7700k before and this bios and control was very bad this board is unreal with control love it and this baord lets me use adaptive offfset gigabyte doesnt have adaptive cpu mode wich realy sucked alos when using gigabyte z270 they have there cpu volts programed way to high so u get volt spikes even in manual / offset mode diffrent load lines barly helped , so thats why i knew if i went to asus this time i would be happy and i am they did a good job just the front panel audio only issue maybe a new moded realtec driver will fix it soon hope
