Asus Maximus XI Formula PCH Temperature

Hello i bought a new motherboard (asus maximus xi formula z390) something caught my attention pch temperature idle 52 degrees, is this temperature normal ? Thank you 🙂

Case:Corsair 570x
Cooler:Corsair H150i (plugged in front, push pull )
Cpu:i7 9700k
Display Card:Asus Rog Strix Gtx 1070 OC (İdle Temp 45)
3 exhaust fan sp120

Can't say it's unusual. liquid coolers a little more efficient at cooling than air coolers, but they also keep the temperature longer than air does. My 9900k OC'd via an XMP profile to 4.7Ghz on all cores (thanks to rog certified ram too, unlocks a special XMP profile) and with my Scythe Mugen 5 PCGH edition it's idling at 36° package temp.

52C on the PCH is normal. About average. Temps run higher on the PCH depending on the graphics card you have. The Strix card you have (which is like my Strix 2080 ti) has an open air design that dumps all the GPU heat into the case. The GPU placement is directly over the PCH, so that pushes the temps higher. GPUs that blow hot air out the back can run the case and the PCH a bit cooler. That said, 52C is fine. Mine goes from 43 idle to 59C when gaming with the GPU dumping all that hot air.

As above, those temps are fine. My Formula XI system is fully water-cooled and with 20c ambient, the PCH will easily climb to 45-50C with minimal load.

I can confirm that with my Code Xi. but I am arounf.... 23C 24C ambient Mine is reading 54C. I read the se from AI SUITE and HWInfo64. minimun load. Well.... I have 2 1440p 144h. that Those come down when 1 monitor is off
