On the product page's specs, it says the z390-i Gaming supports up to 64GB of RAM. The board only has two DIMM slots, so I am wondering if it supports 32GB modules. I am aware the board supports DC (double capacity) sticks but those are extremely hard to find and quite expensive. I would be able to budget for and eventually afford those but the lack of availability is frustrating.
Would the z390-i support regular non-DC RAM, possibly with a BIOS update? I noticed an article going by stating select ROG boards would increase the maximum DIMM size from 16 to 32 to achieve 128GB on 4-slotted boards. Does this change also apply to the ITX variant?
