Z270i m.2 nvme troubles (new BIOS 0808)

So I saw there is a new BIOS release and decided to try it. Seems to work OK as I can boot again with XMP like 0203 but now I'm having issues with my Intel 600p m.2 nvme. The drive can't be detected on boot at times so I have to manually shut down, wait for a minute or so, and pray it would boot. I had it on the front but moving it to the rear didn't make a difference. Looked in BIOS to see if there's a setting to enable/disable/auto nvme setting and there's isn't one. I also updated the ssd with the latest firmware and it's still doing it. Never had this problem until now.

Anyone else having this issue? How can I rollback/downgrade to the previous BIOS version?

Upgraded to 0808 as well and it has pretty much bricked my system until they fix it. My Intel 600P NVMe windows drive is no longer recognized...I re-installed windows on a 2.5" SSD for the time being and it was really unstable getting windows installed and setting up the system. Woke up this morning and Windows is corrupt and won't start. As poster above stated, DO NOT UPGRADE TO 0808.

What a joke, just gonna wait for X299 ITX Asrock board and be done with ASUS.

Expectations were high on this mb but problems ADD up with every BIOS update. Do they even test these before sending them out?

I'm done wasting my time with this thing, so I took the L and bought a Gigabyte GA-Z270N Gaming 5. Let's see how it'll run.

I purchased a second board from Amazon and it was fine until the BIOS update. I worked with support but they told me I had to send the board in at my expense and they did not acknowledge that the BIOS was an issue. I am sending my second board back and my new Gigabyte Z270N Gaming 5 arrived today. I am very disappointed and will miss the second m.2 slot but having my gaming system down for weeks isn't acceptable. At least I know that my first board is "fine" and there is no reason to RMA and go through that cost for nothing.

I guess that answers why they pulled it from the update site.. Come on Asus.....

First the coldboot bug and now some computers are bricked!

Do you even test the releases?

Can i trust Asus products in the future?

*rabble rabble rabble*

I use 0808 bios to , because it was the only bios that my ram works ok Gskill rgb 4.266 16gb. The default bios doesn't post at all and I had red light all the time with xmp on.
So what shall I do ? disable xmp and downgrade the bios ? is this possible to do it on easy way ? Or shall I stay like that ? I use sata SSD .
Thanks

I stupidly updated to the latest 0808 which has since been removed. My system now crashes with all my games on default settings ?(not overclocked) with founders 1080TI graphics. Feel a little gutted that my system is crashing on basic settings with a £2.5k system. Not sure whether to return to amazon or wait, It would be nice if ASUS could confirm or tell us that a fix is on its way. I also find it crazy that the bios cannot be downgraded? I remember days when all bios could be downgraded. Why not now? Please give us a lead ASUS. This is after all your premium board?

I'm running an M2 NVMe for boot drive and have been fine thus far on 0808. Anyone that is having issues try the 0809 UEFI for the Z270I ?
