Hi there!
I have build a new PC. So far i'm happy with my choice for the Asus Z270E mobo, I only encounter one real problem. The USB 3.0 header (20-1 PIN USB3_34) performs on USB 2.0 speeds with a max throughput of 40MB/s. I exchanged allready the USB front panel connector of my case because I first suspected that it could be a faulty front panel unit. Fractal provided me with a new one, but i got the exact same result.
On the backside of the mobo however i have throughput rate of 160MB/s on USB 3.0 with the same external SSD transfering the same large file which gives me 40MB/s on the front panel.
I allready updated the BIOS to the newest version, reinstalled windows, reinstalled all drivers (via AL suite 3), but still no improvement.
What is the cause here?
Best regards,
Lau
