Sorry for the elaborate subject line but neded to get the attention to all Sonic studio users. I found a fix after ayear of reading posts and reinstalling windows and drivers. The fix is, "believe it or not," codecs. without the right ones, sonic effects are myuted and only the EQ gets through. The ones I'm using are, "windows.10.codec.pack.v2.2.0.setup," by Cole williams.
