Z270H my UEFI still shows 1009 as the latest BIOS. How long it usually takes for the file to appear trough EZ Flash Internet update?

Depend on your internet speed. Go to you board website on asus and download the bios there. on your motherboard manual there is the name that you need to save that file on the usbdrive. and flash throw there. since Asus just pull that today, it will take time to have it on the ez flash internet update. In my case every bios i install, i do complete flush so I can take all older bios information to a new one. I know is not necessary but take all odd weir issues away, just in case.

It installed fine, but as soon as i tried to go back to xmp with cpu enhancement it doesnt boot on windows. Blue screen.
I enabled xmp for the ram and selected "no" for the cpu enhancement and the sytem runs fine. So i went to try to get my 7700k to 4.7k (manually) as i had it before but it doenst matter what voltage i use or what multiplier i use i just get blue screens, the cpu is basically performing at 4.2 with a 4.4 boost.

edit. after more tests, it seems that whenever i touch "any" cpu setting it just blue screens. Then i have to load optimal settings and restart. Not even the auto tweaker works.

Well updated to bios 1203( Hero IX) and now in event viewer I have error 17, hardware corrected in PCi express root port 5 A294. No exclamation marks and the properties say the driver is fine. I get no such error on my Hero X. This error was not present before the bios update. Anyone else getting this?

From y side. I do not have that error. however i have the regular COM errors, that I stop checking a long time ago. And also the kernelbase.dll error for the gputweak.

Did you install al new drivers that asus shave on December 2017 in out mobos?

After installing 1203 my sata port nr 5 does not detected what is connected to it.
Tryed :Hard drive, DVD-ROM and an external sata based SSD

Rolling back bios it detects again.
Back to 1203 it cuts out again.

Maximus Hero IX

EDIT:
Update since I also just figured out that the RGB on the motherboard will not turn off when I shut down the computer. Even I have it set in the BIOS to turn off RGB when the computer is in sleep, hibernate or turned off.

Overall for me the 1203 is a BAD BIOS...

Did you clear CMOS after the new bios update?
