Which Ram for Maximus Hero IX and I5-7600K?

Haven't done a new build since the Maximus Hero VII. I'm looking to get a Hero IX, and an i5-7600K. I'd like to know which Gskill 16GB kit you guys recommend?

Thanks,

PS: I think I might put one of the pre-made liquid coolers on the CPU too. Which of those is recommended for the i5-7600K?

Thanks again,

The Trident Z kits seem popular for this platform. And the Kraken AIOs from NZXT are pretty good performance wise and aesthetically attractive.

NZXT are great VISUALLY.
They have compatibility issues with Z270 fitting.
The tubes touch and put pressure on first memory modules closer to the CPU.
Stick with corsair AIO. Better reliability and customer support.

Yes sir
That's the one I'm using. Don't get me wrong the NZXT was on my list but if you do a quick search you will see a lot of people with z270 boards are complaining about that problem. And their customer support is nonexistent.

Thanks for the tips on the cooler. About the Ram, when looking on Amazon, I"m not seeing any that are specced for the Z270 chipset, but I do see some specced for Z170. Should that concern me, or will the Z170 specced ram be fine?

Yep, that's what I'm looking at, the Gskill DDR4, but the kits say Z170 in the description. I can't find any that say Z270. Just wanted to make sure there is no compatibility issue there.

I am using since my z170, and now on the z270 Hero G-skill F4-3200C16Q-32GTZ. That model appears on the QVL list. and is PERFECT. I want to get the ones with RGB but man.... uffff prices are pulling the skin of the chicken!. It will be great that Asus also update the list. Does not manner what memory you get. GET ONE FROM THE LIST that is on the Asus website QVL from the motherboard you choose. is my most recommendation on top of the list. Even read all what is on those list every component all. I find out the hard way! There some certified models. expensive. but on the board. IS AUTOMATIC detected and adjust all parameter. they are expensive as f..... but give you the best experience in all! I all ready other some new SSD .
