Hi,

I have a Maximus IX Hero and I'm having trouble getting wake on LAN working. Is it not supported by this board and NIC?

in APM configuration settings you can enable Power on by PCI-E/PCH. this should enable the device to power on while in sleep.

I see this when I select the network card at the bottom of the Advanced menu. Does this signify anything? Also I tried setting those options and it still doesn't work.

As an update, despite the above picture stating WoL doesn't work, I managed to get it working now. After making sure all the base settings were correct, I tried sending a packet locally and it worked. That told me it was good on my system's end, it was at the router that WAN packets weren't getting to their destination. Ended up needing to change my arp command in DD-WRT to get it to work. Now it's all good.
