RS2 support for Sonic Studio 3 and Sonic Radar 3

ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero Z270 audio driver ( (2017/04/27)) says "Add RS2 support for Sonic Studio 3 and Sonic Radar 3".
Can anyone tell me what is RS2 please. All my attempts to google it, have failed to explain what it is.
