RGBW Led strip on RGB Formula header

Hi to all,
i have a Maximus IX Formula and i have an RGBW led strip, can mobo handle it?
Maybe connecting the correct 4 pin and leave disconnected the 5th?

Hi Kyo88

List us the RGB strip you have.

I'm pretty sure RGBW isn't supported, you can find RGB strips for your motherboard here.

I have a generic strip bought from bangood.
Is not supported any 5050 rgb strip? I didn't know that the strip must be Aura 🙂

5050 RGB strips with a 4pin RGB connector are supported.

I think that is better sell the RGBW strip and buy an RGB one
