I am getting serious problems with SSD that stuk the PC during about 30 seconds, in the system log I have the following error:

“Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued.”
Source: iaStorA

I really try everything in the last 4 days like a crazy, I think I reinstalled the system more than 10 times with Raid0 and NO-Raid0 configuration using two different SSD disks but unable to solve.
The procedure I use is:
1. Install OS
2. Install Asus "Software Installation Utility Intel_Chipset_Win7-81-10_V101138"
3. Install Asus "MEI_Win7-81-10_V11601026"
4. Install Asus "IRST_Win7-81-10_V15201020"
5. Install Asus "AUDIO Realtek_Audio_Driver_Win7-81-10_V6017997"
6. Install Asus "Intel_LAN_Driver_Win7-81-10_V211300"
7. Install NVIDIA "GeForce Hot Fix driver version 378.57"

. Tested the Chipset driver 10.1.1.42 too but no difference.
. Tested with the new BIOS 0801 too but no difference.

My system: Asus Rog Maximus IX Apex, i7 7700k, SLI GTX 1080, Windows10 x64, 32Gb G.Skill F4-3200C14D-32GVK, AOC AGON AG271QG

Can you explain in detail what you mean by that statement? Is your PC having problems shutting down or posting?

It just freeze during 15-30 seconds because unable to access to disk, than continue work normally.
The error is very random, and in the last 24h it just happened one time.

I already try to disable the power management of disks and PCI express but it doesn't help.
Some people over internet solved in this way, but isn't my case.

Do you think it can be a compatibility issue with my SSD that aren't listed in the "Mainboard compatibility list"?

I have two OCZ AGILITY3 (OCZ-1PC0117342M5UUU6), tried with both Raid or NON-Raid configuration and got the same problem.
Than I try to use another SSD, the KINGSTON SV300S37A480G but Windows 10 is unable to install the operating system because the installation process stop at 0% after create the partitions on the disk, error 0xC0000005. Manual clean of the disk with diskpart doesn't help.

I have tried with both CSM enabled and disabled.

Shure, reinstalled more than 10 times in the last week.

does the problem occur after first startup from shutdown? *I had a similar issue with that exact same source. *I'm running two m.2 960 pros in raid 0. *what worked for me is to turn off fast boot in BIOS and turn off fast startup in windows.

The problem manifest random during desktop operations, a couple of times during startup and during windows installation ( final wizard).
The situation looks like better right now because of the bios update to 0801 and Chipset driver update to 10.1.1.42, I has just one freeze in the last 48 hours.

Have you tried something other than OCZ?
I've had issues with OCZ products in the past both ram and SSDs so I stick with the market leader, Samsung.
One last thing to try is simply don't use IRST drivers period. If you aren't running raid you don't need IRST. *

Hello, like I said before I have the KINGSTON SV300S37A480G too, but Windows 10 is unable to install the operating system because the installation process stop at 0% after create the partitions on the disk, error 0xC0000005. Another case incompatibility here...

Was the system at stock defaults when you were trying to install Windows to the Kingston drive?
