Maximus IX Hero motherboards sold out!?

Anybody know if these are going to get shipped out soon? They are sold out everywhere and are on back order. Pretty much sitting here with all my parts and SOL. I found out that b&h put my mobo on back order even though on their site it said they would get them in two weeks from now. Well I just called Asus and their retailer and got no answer to an exact date:(

They're going to be hard to find since the Maximus X Series are the current stars of the moment. If I see any, I'll let you know.

Not sure why Asus would stop producing them since the 7700k is still a very popular chip and the demand seems high. There are a few reputable sellers on ebay that have the mobo for sale but the price is a bit steep. I may bite the bullet and snag one there. Let me know if you see any, thx!

So I ended up biting the bullet and took a chance on ebay. The price was fairly high but compared to other stores it was one of the better choices. I was getting anxious about losing out on the purchase lol

I was already set by the aesthetics of the mobo from the get-go...my mind wasn't going to change.
I will keep everyone posted!
