Help... PC sat idle now won't boot

Hi all,

I built a system in 2017 on a Maximus IX Hero motherboard. It worked flawlessly for years, but has sat unused and unpowered for about 2-3 years due to a bunch of irrelevant reasons.

I've tried to start it today and it will not boot, keeps showing CC for a long time and eventually changes to 55. I'm reluctant to just start messing with things to try to fix it as I have a RAID 10 drive array of 4 HDDs for storage and don't know enough about it to be sure I won't corrupt the data or bugger up the configuration, as Im pretty sure it was configured in BIOS. I had researched it all when building the system and got it all configured and working without incident, but I had to have chemo a couple years ago which left my mind & memory a bit... cooked. I can barely remember how it was configured.

Should I change the button battery to begin with, or is that not likely to be causing this kind of problem?

I cant see any corrosion, there  isn't much dust in the case (I've seen worse on running pc's), and it was kept in a dry location.

Can anyone advise how I should proceed - maintaining the integrity of the raid array data is my priority, but I'd love to get my gaming system back in action. I can't even get it to the BIOS screen to check any configurations.

Component list in case it helps:

Rog Maximus IX Hero, i7 7700K, 4 x 16GB corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 3000MHz (64GB total) model CMD32GX4M2B3000C15, 4 x WD Black 1.0 TB HDD in RAID configuration (RAID 10 if I remember correctly), Samsung 960 Pro m.2 SSD 512GB, GTX 1080Ti founders edition, Thermaltake Water 3.0 cooler, Asus WiFi card, Corsair HX850i power supply and a bunch of RGB fans.

Note that I had to put a later model MB in the associated products field as it seems mine is too old to appear lol.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer some advice. If you need more info let me know.
